Diggers Rest Horses| Cat
Short for Caterpillar, because this horse will doze his way through thick scrub and anything else you ask him to, within reason. We wish we had a dozen of this fella. Cat’s been a gem from the get go, gentle with people and the boss of the herd. Small children take him for strolls, or rather he takes them. In his prime he was an amazingly agile and smart mustering horse, always Roderick’s pick. These days his shoulder gives him trouble if he does much hard work, so he’s on light duties now.
