Diggers Rest Horses|Cody
Cody is one of those horses who is just too smart for his own good sometimes. When he realises that he’s the one making all the decisions, it’s “we are doing this my way,”and the person on his back is just along for the ride. Cody will sit up the front and carry them along, never going more than a few paces away from the guide. When he’s got an experienced rider on him, he soon responds to leg, seat and neck reining. Put him on cattle and he is ready and waiting. We also take him in to do the clerking at the Wyndham Races every year, and he steps up to that job too.
Cody’s not perfect, but he’s strong and steady and drives to the conditions:)
