It’s barra time!
Our friends Rachel and Andrew have been feasting on barramundi this past week, while Roderick and I had a pre-season break up in Darwin for a few days. We came home last night to a beautiful barramundi curry, compliments of Rachel and a barramundi that Andrew caught a few days ago. The barra in this photo went back in to the King to breed (good responsible fishing)!
The local annual fishing competition, the Beyond the Bastion Brown Water Classic is coming up on April 27-28! We will be open for camping, so any competitors wanting to be a bit closer to some good fishing spots can book in out here.
