I keep this poem by Wendell Berry on our office wall. When the complexities of our world feel overwhelming, I read this poem, and it reminds me to slow down, appreciate the beautiful place I live in, and the amazing animals I am surrounded by. Perhaps more than ever, I have found myself needing time with my horses. There is an escape and a comfort in being with them. The simple things become the most important and communication becomes elemental.

I hope you are able to get out and appreciate our incredible landscapes, whether in the Kimberley, Western Australia, Australia or somewhere else in the world!

And the news from Diggers….we have had rain all around us so we are hoping to be the next beneficiaries of these build up storms! Horses and cattle are doing well, and Roderick and I, and the dogs, are doing a daily rain dance:)
