This has been Chica’s first season with us, and she has already become invaluable to our mob.  Five year old Chica came to us green broke back in March. After a few weeks with our mate and horse trainer Neil Carter, and our gentle French horse handler Flore Roux, she had become a soft, willing mare.  We took her on several of our treks this season, ridden by staff as well as guests, and she had a fair bit of mustering work too. This beautiful roan mare has accepted everything that has come her way.

We look forward to many more years of riding Chica, and just enjoying being around her.  We are hoping she will be a good reason for one of our helpers, Mel, to come back to see us again and again!
