The wet season has arrived!

We have been waiting for decent rains and they have finally arrived! The creeks and the King are running high, and the dams have had a good fill. Another bonus of the recent rain is that daily temps have dropped below forty degrees celcius. The sun is out today, and I think I can see the grass growing:) It’s a relief to know that the pastures will just keep growing with this good fall, and it looks like there will be more to follow. If Mother Nature keeps providing us with the occasional good rainfall, then we should have fat and happy horses and cattle come the Dry Season.
